Bio

Henrique Vieira enters his first season as Head Men’s Soccer Coach/Soccer Coordinator at Southeastern Community College, bringing with him a strong background as both a player and coach, along with a fiercely competitive mindset and a clear vision for building a high-level program.

A native of Brazil, Coach Vieira began his collegiate playing career at Indian Hills Community College, where he was a key part of the team that captured the program’s first-ever conference championship in 2017. He also earned his Associate of Arts degree during his time at Indian Hills. Vieira then transferred to Mount Marty University, where he served as team captain, before completing his collegiate career at Waldorf University. He played three seasons at Waldorf—again serving as team captain—and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Promotion and Exercise Science.

After his playing days, Coach Vieira transitioned into coaching, where he quickly made an impact at the club level. Over the course of three years, he coached Vikings FC and Rebel 76 Soccer, building competitive teams from the ground up. His leadership led to multiple successful seasons and the development of players with strong technical, tactical, physical and mental foundations.

Coach Vieira holds a U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) D License and a Goalkeeping Diploma from United Soccer Coaches. His commitment to professional development is matched by the high standards he sets for himself, his players, and the programs he leads.

Known for his intensity and drive, Coach Vieira is a highly competitive coach who emphasizes discipline, accountability, and daily improvement. He creates a demanding training environment where players are expected to compete at their highest level every session.

Coach Vieira brings passion, structure, and a relentless competitive edge to Southeastern Community College, with the goal of building a program that consistently performs at the highest level both on and off the field.
