Men and Women’s Cross Country Competes in Nationals

The Blackhawk Mens and Womens Cross Country teams competed at the NJCAA Division 2 Cross Country National Championship on Saturday, November 14.
Thalia Thomas led the way for the women with a time of 22:08 good for 72nd place, Lilly Garnsey ran 23:32 finishing in 95th place. There were 122 female runners.
Dylan Steele led the way for the Men running 30:14 good for 105th place, not to far behind him was Owen Timmerman coming in at 31:19 and finishing 122nd. Andrew Huhuyana ran 35:11 finishing 142nd. There were 145 male runners.
The Blackhawk Men and Women will be back in action for the NJCAA Half-Marathon National Championships on Tuesday, November 17.
