West Burlington, IA-From the region champions was freshman forward Bart Muns. Muns, second in the conference in goals, was voted the 2021 Division II Player of the Year. Scoring 15 goals and adding nine assists, Muns was second in the conference in scoring. His most important goal of the season was his latest goal, as he netted the game-tying goal in the 85th minute of the district championship game, which gave the Blackhawks the chance to come back and win, which they did. 

Muns ripped off 52 shots to lead the conference. He had multi-goal games four times this season including a hattrick against Scott and had 10 goals in a six-game stretch, scoring at least one in all six.
