Cole Yearsley Garners ICCAC DII Baseball Athlete of the Week

Cole Yearsley grabbed his rake and stepped into the batter's box last week. In five games, all Blackhawk victories, Yearsley provided production to Southeastern's line up. In total
he went 11 of 20 (.550) with five doubles, a homer -- which resulted in 11 RBI and seven runs scored. He also walked twice and stole two bases. His lone homer was huge -- it lifted
SCC to a 4-3 walk off win against Southeast (Neb.). Yearsley is hitting .455 this season in nine games -- he has the one homer, 14 RBI and 10 runs scored. Currently, he is on a fivegame
hitting streak.
