Southeastern lost to Indian Hills 4-1

Southeastern Community College Blackhawks fell to the Indian Hills Warriors on Tuesday evening action. 

The Blackhawks sent Andrew Stout to the mound. Stout allowed a pair of hits in the top of the first inning that resulted in a run but was dominate from there on out. Trailing 1-0 heading into the bottom of the first the Blackhawks started the game with a leadoff walk and a single, but a double play and a groundout erased the threat. 

Andrew Stout pitched well through the next three inning only allowing one baserunner to reach on a single. In the fifth Stout allowed a run on three hits. For the outing Stout pitched 6.2 IP allowing six hits and striking out four. Christian Delgado relieved Stout in the seventh inning with two outs and got the second batter he faced out. In the top of the 8th, the first batter of the inning reached on an error, followed by a single, a sacrifice bunt, hit by pitch and a double scored two runs for the Warriors. Duane Cyr relieved Delgado and went 1.2 innings allowing now baserunners and striking out three. 

The bats were cold all day as the Blackhawks were only able to score one run on five hits. The Blackhawks only managed to get five hitters into scoring position scoring only one of them in the bottom of the 9th inning. After leading off the 9th with a double, Luis Vargas came around to score on a fielders choice by Frank Guerrero.
