West Burlington, Iowa – Three Southeastern Community College Blackhawks sign to Division One schools in the early signing period. 

Andrew Stout, Otis Roby and Tanner Foster all have decided where they plan on continuing their career next season.

Andrew Stout will continue his career at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Stout had a big season as a freshman for the Blackhawks last season going 8-1 on the season. Stout led the Blackhawks in innings last year pitching 71.2 innings. Andrew also had a good summer in the prestigious Valley League pitching to a 1.5 ERA.

Andrew joins a Liberty team that went 31-28 competing in the Big South Conference. Liberty boasted wins against South Florida, UNC Asheville, Maryland, and Charleston Southern.

Otis Roby will continue his career at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. Roby was used exclusively as a reliever last year at Southeastern pitching to a 4.35 ERA in 31 innings. Roby ranked top five on the Blackhawks in K/9 with 11.03.

Roby joins a South Dakota state team looking to build on their four year run making the Summit league conference tournament.

Tanner Foster will continue his career at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Foster was used as both a starter and a reliever last season pitching 45.1 innings for the Blackhawks. Tanner also helped out the Danville Dans in the Prospect League throwing 22.2 innings during their 35-25 season.

Foster joins a Northern Illinois team coming off of a second place finish in the Mid-American  West Division.
